The reason for being of the GHENOVA Group goes beyond conventional engineering and we maintain a firm commitment to safety, sustainability and innovation, with a clear international vocation.

1984-2000
Our beginnings
Our origins date back to the mid-80s, when we began providing consulting and engineering services from Seville in traditional sectors: industry, energy, infrastructure, and shipbuilding. From the 90s onwards, we became the leading engineering firm for the shipbuilding sector, a position we have maintained to this day and which has allowed us to capitalize on other business opportunities through various synergies.
The growth and expansion of the GHENOVA Group was based until the end of the 20th century on the provision of comprehensive engineering services and on establishing ourselves in locations close to our main clients, offering a close and quality service.
2000 - PRESENT
External expansion
The Group begins to grow through acquisitions of companies with capabilities complementary to our own and by investing to establish ourselves where talent and business opportunities exist, maintaining our philosophy of supporting the client in all their engineering service needs.
The Seville office, the Group's registered office, will soon be joined by other locations in different parts of Spain: Madrid, Ferrol, El Puerto de Santa MarÃa, Cartagena, Vigo, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Bilbao and Córdoba currently complete the national map of our locations.
In 2010, with the opening of its first subsidiary in Brazil, GHENOVA began its expansion into Latin America, establishing a strong presence in the region.
Subsequently, the Group consolidated its commitment to global growth by opening offices in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, South Korea and Saudi Arabia.
We are also capitalizing on growth opportunities by strengthening our core business lines, such as the acquisition of SIMAN , our advanced logistics and maintenance support software , a perfect complement to our services in the security and defense sector. Furthermore, we are developing disruptive technologies in the renewable energy sector, such as Blue Solar and Wind to Power.
The actuality
After the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain, the Group is growing at a rate of approximately 20% annually, maintaining its international focus, with the opening of new offices in countries such as South Korea, Australia and Saudi Arabia and expanding its service portfolio, offering advanced solutions in cybersecurity and the development of marine renewable energies.
Currently, GHENOVA employs over 1.300 professionals worldwide , solidifying its position as a leading international engineering firm. The Group continues to drive its growth with the opening of new offices, such as the one in Córdoba, and the strengthening of its technological capabilities, while maintaining the commitment that has guided its trajectory for more than four decades: to provide high-value engineering services to industry and society.
