JAEN TRAMWAY SYSTEM

Narrative description of the project:

The project is planned as the integrating axis of residential estates of the town connecting them with some areas needing public transport with capacity, a factor of great impact in the evolution of mobility of the town, taking into account the planned urban development and establishing itself as a new communication means around the town centre, in a flowing, effective and comfortable manner, which enables access to health care services through the Hospital of Jaen and the Campus, as well as the fast access to industrial estates and a good intermodality with the railway station. With a length of 4.7 Km and track gauge of 1435 m. All conditions and possible interconnections with the existing roads are being studied, checking they work and offer road safety, selecting the optimal solution based on traffic, economic and technical functional criteria.

Management of building Works.

Main tasks developed:

• Facultative Management of Works and Facilities and Mobile Material
• Previous Works and Approval of Construction Plan.
• Civil Works (Drafting of Supervision and Quality Control Plan regarding Civil Works; Preliminary Analysis of Construction Project; Implementation of Quality Control Plan and Monitoring of Civil Works; Measuring and assessment of executed work; Report of results and incidences; Monthly reports regarding Civil Works Management; Quality Control of Civil Works; Monitoring of modifications of project and structural calculations.
• Facilities and Mobile Material (Drafting of Supervision and Quality Control Plan regarding Facilities and Mobile Material; Implementation of Quality Control Plan and Monitoring of Facilities and Mobile Material)
• Miscellaneous (Perform tasks and obligations regarding Health and Safety; Monthly reports regarding Health and Safety Coordination.
