ESCOTILLON IV

A series of 4 multi-purpose ships that will modernize and upgrade and enhance the deployment capabilities of the Sealift, both in military and humanitarian operations. The ships will be able to operate throughout the Pacific and will be capable of operating in Antarctic waters during the summer months, and will be able to operate in logistic support operations, search and rescue missions, troop and material movement and deployment, humanitarian assistance and disaster response.
