Narrative description of the project:

The project involves the replacement of all conditions of urban Networks, specially:

  • Replacement of sewerage and storm water networks: 1000 m PVC pipes up to 600mm in diameter. 5000 m Ha pipes up to 300mm in diameter. 500 m PRFV pipes up to 1000 mm in diameter. 120 m stoneware pipes up to 500 mm in diameter. Reinforced concrete shaft equipment.
  • Replacement of supply networks: 3000 m of FD pipes up to 1000 mm in diameter. 150 m of steel pipes up to 1300 mm in diameter.500 m of Ha pipes with sheet metal sleeves of 1600 mm in diameter.
  • Special parts: gate valves; throttle valve, suction cups, etc. Also pump installations relevant to line 1 of the metro such as: 16 pumping stations, pumps and electrical and control installation

 

GHENOVA scope of works:

Management of building Works, installations and mobile material of the line 1 of Seville Subway.

Ghenova Ingeniería conducted, in this project, the study of the Network by checking the effect of the action measures carried out, analysing them and georeferencing wells and collectors. Besides, the location of possible leaks was checked by establishing the revision of the networks, by calculating maximum and minimum peaks and spotting aspects that might lead to faults, and subsequently, the Redesign of the Network with aspects that might lead to leaks. Those aspects were totally resolved. Lastly, a GIS-Telematics Control System regarding the Operation of the Distribution Network and Leaks, both regarding Supply and Sanitation was developed.
