Narrative description of the project:
Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri has been awarded a contract for the construction of two new-concept gas powered ships from TUI Cruises, a joint venture between TUI AG and Royal Caribbean Cruises. The new units will be built at the Monfalcone shipyard and delivered in 2024 and in 2026, respectively. To feature around 161,000 gross tons, the new ships will set up the backbone of the future TUI Cruises’ fleet.
