Based in Templeborough, Rotherham, UK, the plant uses locally sourced wood waste to generate around 45 MW of energy. The power generated by the facility will be equivalent to the energy consumption of 70,000 homes and will result in an annual reduction of carbon dioxide of up to 360 tonnes. It will be designed, manufactured and operated by BWV and Interserve. The project will be operational by the third quarter of 2017.
