Project description:

In February 2015 Chantiers de l’Atlantique signed a contract to design and build 4 cruise ships for Celebrity Cruises, a premium brand subsidiary of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (with their innovative design, those ships set new standards for modern iconic architecture). The first units were delivered in October 2018 and March 2020, with the other two to be completed in 2021 and 2022. The new Celebrity Apex offers an innovative mobile platform characterized by its great spaciousness. This is called the “Magic Carpet,” features vertical travel from Deck 2 to Deck 16. This platform has several functions: at the lower level of the ship, it will serve as a ramp, while at the upper level, it will become a real extension to enjoy the outdoors with restaurants and party spaces.
