OFFSHORE WIND RENEWABLE

GHENOVA has carried out numerous offshore wind energy R+D projects, with prototypes of maintenance personnel transport vessels (SEAPEM) and offshore wind turbine installation (SWIRL), with the design of shafts including composite materials (MIAMI) and developing the patented W2POWER technology with a 12 Mw twin turbine floating wind platform, having a 1:6 scale prototype (European project WIP 10+) tested in the open sea.

Work is currently underway on W2POWER technology on the full-scale platform and on the hybridization of the floating platform with aquaculture and on the design of a specific substation (W2P-HERA) included in a productive platform.
