Project description:

Design of prototype vessel/platform and systems to reduce offshore wind turbine installation and maintenance costs and times.

Objectives:             

  • Vessel with continuous presence in the wind farm during installation.
  • Barges supplying bases, towers and wind turbines.
  • Complete tower – wind turbine pre-assembly on the vessel.
  • Dynamic positioning for DP3 maneuvers.
