GHENOVA Engineering received the Competitiveness Award from the Spanish Maritime Cluster (CME) on December 11. Eduardo Serra, former minister and vice-president of the Royal Academy of the Sea, presented the award to Carlos Alejo, president of GHENOVA, and Francisco J. Cuervas, general manager.
The Chamber of Commerce of Seville held on June 12, 2016 its “great business event”, as the president of the institution, Francisco Herrero, described it. It was La Noche de la Economía y las Empresas. The evening in which the institution wants to “highlight the work well done and the good work of companies, which are the real dynamizers of the economy”. Companies that have excelled in areas such as internationalization, innovation and new technologies, digital economy. The Seville-based engineering multinational Ghenova closed the 2020 financial year with a turnover of €26 million, down just 5% from the €27 million in sales it had in 2019 and above the €24 million it turned over in 2018, the two consecutive years in which it had set records in its results.

Mari4_YARD, the new EU-funded project, started its activity in December 2020. With an estimated duration of four years, it is expected to be completed by 2024.
