The project consists of the design and development of a system for the automatic calculation of the airport pavement condition index (PCI). It includes automatic detection sensors and artificial intelligence algorithms for pattern recognition and classification. It is a consortium project led by Ghenova, with the participation of the companies Ontech and MC2, as well as renowned technological centres such as CATEC, CITIC and universities such as that of Huelva.
This project has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within the Operational Programme for Intelligent Growth 2014-2020, with the aim of promoting research, technological development and innovation.
