Narrative description of the project
Development of employee-oriented solutions for flexible and modular manufacturing in small and medium-sized shipyards.
The shipbuilding industry needs to increase its productivity in small and medium-sized shipyards, as well as its competitiveness, based on controlled investments and through the automation and digitalization of the processes carried out, respecting the environmental needs and the safety of its workers.
Scope of Ghenova's work
– Implementations for the use of modular and flexible equipment, interoperability with current shipyard systems.
– Implementation of the use of ubiquitous ICT tools, VR/MR tools and mobile robots.
– Implement efficiency policies with portable, reconfigurable and multifunctional, modular, adaptable solutions.
– Implementation of worker solutions: ICT tools for labor-intensive and hazardous tasks and exoskeletons to reduce fatigue.
