Project description:

Development of employee-oriented solutions for flexible and modular manufacturing in small and medium-sized shipyards.

Objectives:

The shipbuilding industry needs to increase its productivity in small and medium-sized shipyards, as well as its competitiveness, based on controlled investments and through the automation and digitalization of the processes carried out, respecting environmental needs and the safety of its workers.

To this end, the project has specified the following objectives:

Flexibility: Use of modular and flexible equipment, interoperability with existing shipyard systems.

Portability: Use of ubiquitous ICT tools, VR/MR tools and mobile robots.

Cost efficiency: Portable, reconfigurable and multifunctional, modular and adaptable solutions.

Worker-focused: ICT tools for labor-intensive and hazardous tasks and exoskeletons to reduce fatigue.
