Narrative description of the project

Ghenova has been awarded the contract for the drafting service of the preliminary project or basic project for the construction of a substation in the Port of Malaga and the implementation of OPS (On-Shore Power Supply) systems for energy supply to ships in port (Cold Ironing) that contribute to the decarbonization of the Port of Malaga. The project has an execution period of 3 months.

Scope of Ghenova's work

STARTING POINT (PHASE 0):

– Compilation of available information and verification of starting points.

– Analysis and diagnosis of the current situation.

ELECTRICAL SUBSTATION (PHASE 1):

– Connection line and connection point with the utility company.
– 66 kV/ 20 kV transformer substation of new construction.

OPS SHIP SUPPLY SYSTEM (PHASE 2):

– Proposals and study of alternatives
– Comparative analysis of the solutions.
– OPS ship supply system.
