J-LAY
Pipelay modification project involving the replacement of the existing pipelay system with a new J-lay system with a maximum dynamic capacity of 1,500 tons, adapted to handle several varieties of pipelines.
FRAGATAS F110
The new vessels will replace the Santa Maria class F80s, commissioned in 1986 and reaching their operational life in 2025 after modernizations. The program, estimated at 4.3 billion euros, will build five units starting in February 2022 at Navantia’s shipyard in Ferrol.
