El proyecto ECLOSION tiene como objetivo desarrollar nuevos materiales, tecnologías y procesos para la generación, almacenamiento, transporte y aprovechamiento de hidrógeno renovable y biometano, obtenidos a partir de biorresiduos, así como herramientas de optimización energética.

Las instalaciones de hidrógeno combinan 400 MW de energía solar fotovoltaica con 220 MW de producción de hidrógeno, utilizando energía verde de la red eléctrica de Queensland. Incluye almacenamiento intermedio de 30 toneladas de hidrógeno.
